GCDS celebrates the start of the summer season with the re-opening of the Capri boutique.
The flagship store, located in Piazza Umberto I, the famous little square in the heart of the Campania island, features a design that combines GCDS's creative and pop style with local aesthetics: between the yellow walls and the blue carpeted floor, a sumptuous amphora with hand-painted lemons, the island's distinctive symbol, stands out.
"Being Neapolitan, I was lucky enough to be able to spend my childhood summers in Capri. Even then Capri seemed like a dream to me, and now that I look at it from afar, living in Milan, I perceive its unique charm even more. It is a real honor to be able to add a new piece to the retail expansion of GCDS with the opening of a store in Capri, for me it represents a real return home and to my roots." Following an idea of fashion, increasingly fluid with garments characterized by materials, craftsmanship and shades that highlight the individuality of each person, the reopening of the boutique is distinguished by the launch of the 'Capri' capsule collection available exclusively in the store and on the online site.
A more streetwear side made up of sweatshirts and jersey t-shirts, baseball caps and towels with the writing 'Capri', are also bounded by the iconic garments from the Spring Summer 2023 collection.
